April - a healthy month

Winter has always been scary to me. Of course it has a very beautiful holiday period but it also is a very lazy time of a year with no care for a body health. I've been a vegetarian for five years and always had ups and downs. From periods or eating healthy food (lots of vegetables, fruits and berries) to periods of eating junk food mainly (burgers, huge amounts of chocolate, sweets and potato chips). Thinking about how my body must have suffered makes me shiver. That was a horror but I'm so happy Spring finally came and saved me. Warm weather and lots of sunshine make me want to give up the bad habits and include more healthy food in my daily rations, more walking, more time spent outside.
I'm challenging myself with a month of no junk food. I've started yesterday March 28d and will finish on May 1st. I'm putting myself on half vegan diet and will be trying to give up the dairy products slowly, drink lots of water, eat vegetables, fruits, berries and nuts mainly. No chocolate, no burgers, no fries, no potato chips, no coke or any other crap. I hope it becomes a beautiful new habit of mine and I will never give it up again. What are your plans for this Spring?
