DIY: felt flower brooch

This Friday instead of Little box of treasures I decided to make a nice do it yourself project. I love anything floral so here's an easy way to make yourself a pretty flower from felt. If you don't have any felt I'm pretty sure that fabric will also do. When your flower is done you can decorate it with whatever you like. I've chosen a stone bead for the center of the flower and cut some tule leaves. The length of my wool felts were 35cm (14 inches), the width - 4cm (1.6 inch). Sew a brooch pin on the back of it and enjoy!

You can find my other DIYs here: greeting card and thread wrapped box.

Loooove this!  I’ve not seen a flower done like this before.  Makes me wish I would have bought that felt I was looking at yesterday.

The second picture shows how you should cut it. The third one shows how to put these two pieces of felt together. The fourth photo shows how to wrap it all in a circle. I hope it helps, Lore! :)

Saying goodbye

It's been a great journey and an unforgettable experience but things change and finally come to an end, no matter how good they were.

Closing the blog would be just too harsh so I've decided to put Sheepy Me for sale and start searching for a person that would like to continue doing the work that I've started.
