DIY: greeting card
The last DIY project thread wrapped box became so popular that I really wanted to make another DIY post! This time it's a greeting card decorated with fabric triangles. A wonderful way to surprise your beloved friends, soul sisters, moms, dads, grandmothers... anyone! I trully think that handmade greeting cards are the cutest. Especially if after reading they can assist as tiny pictures that stand somewhere in a special place of your room.

My greeting card was 15cm (5,9in) length and 11cm (4,3in) width. The borders of the frame were 2cm (0,8in) width. The fabric triangles were of differend sizes and I actually think that the card turns out more beautiful if these triangles are not identical to each other. The whole making process was very easy and took me up to 20 minutes to finish it. Well yeah, cuting out a card and triangles is the longest part, but then you just need to stick them on your card and put a frame on it. Good luck and write nice greetings! :)

Innovative and just beautiful!!!!
Thank you,Jane Dohrmann! :)
What a lovely card ideal for children to make, with Mum’s help doing the cutting, for Grandparents on their special days.
Dawn Mason, exactly! It is really easy and the results start showing shortly so I guess children would love it. Oh and joy to Grandparents too! :)
What a great and beautiful idea. also another way to use your scraps
Nicci Bush, thank you! I don’t like throwing things out. I’m more of a keeper kind, so that’s what happens when there’s no more place to store all the things. Haha :)
Such a creative and great idea… depending on the fabric, it would be suitable for any occasion or gender! Clever Lady
Thanks, Annie Jones. Definitely! I also had this idea to cut out oval shaped frames and make it look like an egg. That would make pretty awesome Easter greeting cards. :)
