Galaxy candle holders

Last night I was browsing Pinterest and found so many beautiful galaxy patterned things! I especially loved the idea of galaxy nails. It's such a brilliant idea and looks gorgeous! The key ingredient for success is layering and as a very unpatient person I can't handle the drying process. Oh well, I found some candle holders at home I've never used and decided to paint galaxy patterns on them just to feed my urge. Those require just a few colors of nail polish - I used dark blue, turquoise, black with glitter and some dark pink. The more shimmer the better! First of all I painted the candle holders blue, then added some turquoise, bits of pink and glitter and voila!

Do you like galaxies? I've started a board on Pinterest dedicated to these beautiful mysterious things! Have a nice Thursday everyone! :)

Wow that idea is genius and the result is stunning! I’d love to see how it looks in the dark with a candle lighted up.

This is so cool! How exactly did you paint them? Did you do a splatter kind of thing or just random?

How did you make it look so sparkly and so realistic?
A friend of mine is getting married and having a galaxy themed wedding and these would be perfect!!

Well, it all depends on nail polishes really. I’ve chosen shades of blue and purple. All of them were shiny. You can add more glitter for more sparkles as well. :)
Good luck with the wedding. It’s such a beautiful idea - galaxy theme.

Saying goodbye

It's been a great journey and an unforgettable experience but things change and finally come to an end, no matter how good they were.

Closing the blog would be just too harsh so I've decided to put Sheepy Me for sale and start searching for a person that would like to continue doing the work that I've started.
